GERMANY!!!!!

My trip to Germany was simply amazing ! Going to Germany and staying there with Germans...living their life for a couple of weeks was a whole new experience !  I stayed with the Wackerls ! They were the BEST host family i could ever ask for !  My host parents, Sepp and Christa were very very sweet to me . They were not very familiar with english...but they still made me feel at home !  I never had the feeling that i was hundreds of kilometers from home ! 
My German Exchange partner Silke was awesome ! She would ask me permission before she took a bite of chicken at McDonalds ! Her whole family did not eat non-vegetarian food inside the house just because i am a vegetarian !  Silke was very curious to learn about India and our different cultures and traditions here !  She introduced me to all her friend and they all spoke in english for me to understand !
We went bowling along with Meyyammai and Smrithi and their families ! It was so much fun ! I not only got to know the German girls but i also got to know the Indian girls!  We also went shopping along with the Germans and the Indians ! We also went to Munich for shopping ! That is when i came to know the shopoholic inside me and my friends !  By making my decisions about what to buy and what not to...not having my mom to pay the bill for all my purchases...really taught me the value of money !
I had to travel by a bus and tram and train everyday to reach school ...this is something so new for me as i have NEVER travelled alone even i We got to travel by an auto rickshaw in India !  We also went to an adventure zone place where there many team events ! It was to make us understand the importance of team work and also to bond with out partners ! that was the BEST part of my German trip..and of course the shopping ! How can i forget that ?!  My fiends bought this really beautiful and exepnsive dress for my b'day !  We also visited a castle and a farm ! 
The German girls LOVED the INDIAN MUSIC and movies so much ! We had a "DESI NIGHT" back there ! and they loved all the Item numbers from India ! specially 'Sheila Ki Jawaani' ! We danced for a few German songs too ! It was awesome fun ! We danced till we got bretheless ! 
Being in germany for 2 weeks was such a beautiful experience ! It felt like the end of an era when we had to leave Germany ! We all bore tears on the day of our departure ! THIS German trip was a once in a life time opportunity ! I never knew i could have soooo much of fun in just a couple of weeks !  It is the best thing that has ever happenes to me ! I will ALWAYS cherish the beautiful memories of Germany !
